Introduction

A watershed management plan was completed in 2016 to guide efforts within the Walnut Creek Watershed to improve water quality and reduce flooding. The plan was developed from information gathered during stakeholder input sessions, watershed assessments, and engineering analysis. This completed plan provides detailed watershed information and recommendations for future improvements. Through collaboration and partnership, the Walnut Creek Watershed Management Authority has focused on using this master plan to guide implementation efforts.
